Get Vrex Running

Install Vrex and join your session on a Windows computer

Get Vrex installed and into your session.

Before you start

  • Windows 10 or 11
  • Internet connection
  • Your Vrex credentials (email and password, or SSO — your IT team will know which)

Install

  1. Go to vrex.no/download
  2. Download the Vrex Launcher installer
  3. Run VrexLauncher.exe and follow the prompts

The launcher handles all future updates automatically. You only need to do this once.

  1. Open Vrex Launcher from your Start menu
  2. Click Launch Vrex
  3. Enter your email and password — or click Sign in with SSO if your organisation uses it
  4. Select your workspace if prompted

Join your session

Once logged in, you’ll see the Vrex lobby. Click the session invite link from your email, or select the project and click Join Session.

Can’t connect at all? Your IT team may need to allow Vrex through a firewall or proxy. Send them this link: IT setup for Vrex — it has everything they need, no explanation required.
