Use Vrex natively on managed Quest headsets
Vrex Go runs directly on your Quest headset. No streaming, no cloud servers, instant startup.
What is Vrex Go?
Vrex Go is a standalone version of Vrex that runs natively on Meta Quest devices. It’s ideal for:
- Sites with limited internet connectivity
- Presentations and demos
- Situations where instant startup matters
- Managed device fleets
Prerequisites
- Meta Quest 2, Quest 3, or Quest Pro
- Vrex Go app installed by your IT admin
- Vrex account credentials
- Wi-Fi connection for login and sync
Getting Started
Step 1: Find the App
- Put on your Quest headset
- Go to your App Library
- Look for Vrex Go
If you don’t see it, contact your IT admin. They need to deploy it via Meta Horizon.
Step 2: Log In
- Open Vrex Go
- Enter your email and password, or use SSO
- Select your workspace if you belong to multiple
Step 3: Join a Session
From the Vrex lobby:
- Tap a session invite to join an ongoing review
- Or open a project and start a new session
Differences from Streaming

Choose streaming for large, detailed models. Choose Go for speed and offline capability.
Model Sync
Vrex Go downloads and caches models locally. The first time you open a project:
- The model downloads to your headset
- Progress shows in the lobby
- Once cached, it loads instantly
Models stay cached until you clear app data or they’re updated on the server.
Troubleshooting
